Feminist Jungian Psychotherapy and Mythic Depth Work
THE WORK OF RECOGNITION
QUESTIONS THAT REORGANISE A LIFE
You may have arrived here because something in your life no longer fits.
From the outside, very little may have changed.
You may still be functioning, working, caring, holding, managing.
But somewhere within, the old arrangement has begun to lose its authority.
The life that kept everything going no longer feels like the whole truth.
Something in you is asking to be recognised.
You may recognise yourself here if:
You understand more than you can yet live
You no longer feel fully at home in the life you are living
The same patterns and questions keep returning
You are exhausted by becoming acceptable at the cost of becoming absent
You can feel the distance between the life you perform and the life underneath it
You feel the ache of an unlived life rising beneath the surface
Nothing here is rushed or reduced to a problem.
This is the work of recognition: meeting the roles, loyalties, silences and performances that shaped a life, and listening for what has remained true beneath them.
WHAT CHANGES HERE
My work is for women who can feel more than one truth moving through them at once.
What they know, and the old loyalties that still hold.
The longing for depth, and the fear of what it may ask.
The life they have learned to perform, and the life pressing to be lived.
At Hag & Bone, we stay with that tension long enough for recognition to become possible.
We work with the old bargain, the inherited silence, the body’s knowing, the life beneath adaptation, and the instinct that has never entirely gone out.
Over time, a woman hears herself sooner.
Decisions require less self-betrayal.
The body becomes harder to overrule.
She apologises less for what is true and becomes more present in the life she is living.
IN PERSON & ONLINE WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
There are three main doorways into the work. Each has its own rhythm, depth, and form of holding.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Weekly one-to-one depth psychotherapy for women who want a steady, clinically grounded space in which to understand what hurts, what repeats, and what the life is asking.
A space for grief, anxiety, relationships, self-erasure, rupture, old wounds, and the deeper structures shaping what hurts now.
DEPTH WORK
Mythic, relational containers for women whose insight is no longer enough.
For those ready to work with symbol, body, story, ritual, imaginal process, and the deeper pattern beneath what keeps repeating.
Includes immersive 1:1 containers, signature rites and longer one-to-one passages.
MENTORSHIP
For therapists, guides, and practitioners whose work is asking more of them.
A reflective, relational space for the woman and the work: voice, authority, boundaries, symbolic material, practice shape, and deeper integrity.
A place where the practitioner is held with the same care she offers others.
SEALSKIN, SOULSKIN
SIGNATURE IMMERSIONSix doors. One return.
A six-week live group online immersion for women living too far from their own skin.
Held through live chambers, ritual objects, weekly readings, imaginal journeys, and between-session keeping, this is a mythic rite of instinct, truth, grief, desire, threshold, and return.

ABOUT LAVINIA WILDE
PSYCHOTHERAPIST | WRITER | MYTHIC GUIDE
MA | BA (HONS) | PG DIP | PG CERTI am a feminist Jungian psychotherapist, writer and mythic guide.
My work asks how a woman recovers the authority to define and inhabit her own life.
For more than two decades, I have accompanied women through the places where inherited loyalties, old adaptations and unlived truths begin to press against the life they have known.
Raised during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, my practice is grounded in professional training and lived understanding. I bring depth psychology, feminist thought, myth, language and the body into conversation, creating spaces where nothing has to be performed and where women can question inherited laws, recognise the authority of their own knowing, and allow life to change around what becomes true.
