ONLINE RETREAT - 25TH FEBRUARY 2026

Rite of Voice

A Four-Week Descent through Word and Image.

For the woman whose voice has been softened, edited, or trimmed to fit.

For the one who has learned to speak gently, but is ready to speak truly.

The voice you buried under politeness still knows the way home.

Join me for a four-week Rite of Voice —
a mythic, literary, and artistic writing descent for women ready to write from bone.

Each week, we explore a threshold of expression:
a painting, a photograph, or a text that holds something raw and unsayable.
We might look to Paula Rego’s Dog Woman, Tracey Emin’s My Bed, or the works of Sophie Calle, Louise Bourgeois, Ocean Vuong, Jean Rhys, or Max Porter —
artists and writers who turn shame, silence, and tenderness into truth.

Together, we listen for our own cadence beneath the noise of expectation.

We write not to polish, but to pierce — not to perform, but to remember.

In a small circle of eight women, we share words as offerings, not outcomes —
the page as altar, language as reclamation.

This work calls to women who have outgrown their old ways of speaking,
who long to recover the sound of their own authority —
voice that trembles, but tells the truth.
